Suubi – DHO Model Farm, is a continuation of our father’s legacy. Our father, Mzee Daniel Hadondi Oduho, did not have the benefit of formal education but used this land to set himself apart as a man of means. From this land, he operated multiple farming enterprises which enabled him to adequately provide for his family of more than fifty members including his wives, children, nephews, nieces, and grandchildren. Mzee Daniel lived to a ripe age of more than 100 years and made it abundantly clear before his demise that we only had the right to use it for farming but never to sell it. In his memory, we continue to use this land as he willed/wished.
By becoming part of the Suubi family, you’ll show your support for sustainable Ugandan agriculture and receive access to our rich heritage of farming knowledge. As a member, you’ll also enjoy a great range of benefits, including:
- Exclusive farm tours to learn hands-on about organic farming and sustainable practices.
- Monthly updates on our projects, farm tips, and special offers to help you enjoy the beauty of rural life.
- Delicious recipes using farm-fresh ingredients.
- Workshops and events focused on gardening, animal husbandry, and more.
